Lesley Ann Brandt and Maria Bartiromo

Born on 2 December 1981 in Cape Town South Africa Lesley-Ann Brandt is an actress and model well known for her appearances on TV shows and films. Brandt, who began her career as an actor in New Zealand's Diplomatic Immunity sitcom and made her American debut on the stage with the character as Naevia in the historical drama Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress has appeared on numerous television series over the course of the last decade, such as Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies, and The Librarians. From 2016, Brandt has played the character in the role of Mazikeen in the urban fantasy series Lucifer which stars Tom Ellis Lauren German and Kevin Alejandro. Brandt was raised in Cape Town South Africa. Later, in her late teens she immigrated together with family members in Auckland New Zealand. Brandt's professional career began as a fashion model when she appeared in television commercials and magazine ads. Prior to becoming an infamous model, Brandt worked as a retail salesperson, and as a recruitment consultant for the information technology industry. In 2009, she landed her first part as Leilani in the New Zealand comedy Diplomatic Immunity. The year 2021 was the year that her first major role came as Naevia the slave in the Starz series Spartacus Blood and Sand. The role of Naevia was also reprised by her in the Spartacus mini-series Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She co-starred with the actor Craig Parker in three different TV shows: Diplomatic Immunity (2009) Spartacus (2010) and Legend of the Seeker (2008). Her first role was Mazikeen the demon that hunts for bounty in Netflix's top show Lucifer. This happens to be her biggest role to date. The series features Tom Ellis Lauren Gerber Kevin Alejandro D.
