Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox received a scholarship to study at London's Royal Academy of Music for 3 years. Lennox was able to survive on a student's stipend, and worked part-time in order to earn a living. Lennox believed that her abilities weren't as good as those of the Royal Academy classmates. So she started thinking of other routes she could choose. Lennox became part of the group Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. However, she left before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent competition. Between 1977 and 1980, she was vocalist for The Tourists. A British pop group. It was during this time that she met Dave Stewart with whom she will form Pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. It was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album that was released in October 2014 was Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored jazz, blues and soul tunes. Lepidoptera, a collection four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May of 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her first self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox, born on December 25, 1954 in Scotland, is a charitable philanthropist and political activist. She sings. At the end of the 70s, Lennox gained some not-so-great fame while part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Medusa an album from her studio, that was released in 1995 features songs that are re-imagined from her most popular songs including the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer has released six solo album compilations and studio albums.
